All users of this Site agree that access to and use of this Site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other laws which apply. Please do not use this Site if you do not agree to these terms and conditions.

Although you may "bookmark" a particular portion of this Site or otherwise bypass this Agreement, your use of this Site still binds you to the terms. Since the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America may revise this Agreement at any time, you should visit this page periodically to review the terms and conditions.


If you wish to return an item for refund or exchange please contact the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America at 949.727.3727 for a Return Authorization Number. Please have your original invoice available when you call. Products approved for refund or exchange must be in new and unused condition. Only currently offered versions of publications will be accepted for return. Please include a copy of the original invoice with your return. Customers are responsible for return shipment costs. Close-out and special order items are not returnable. The SVIA cannot be responsible for items returned without a Return Authorization Number. Please contact the SVIA at the number above if you have any questions.

In the event a Specialty Vehicle Institute of America product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information, the SVIA shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The SVIA shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, the SVIA shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

All Specialty Vehicle Institute of America products are for personal use only and not intended for re-sale without authorized written permission in advance from the SVIA. Some items may be restricted to certain classes of membership. All purchases of such items are subject to verified status of membership. There may be other additional agreements (e.g. Retail Sales Report agreement) that also cover the use, distribution, or resale of such products, and those agreements remain in full effect. Unless the Customer provides Specialty Vehicle Institute of America with a complete, valid, and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to the product ship-to location prior to SVIA's acceptance of the order, the Customer is responsible for sales and all other taxes associated with the order.

If applicable, a separate charge for taxes will be shown on the invoice (current State tax rate will be charged and collected by SVIA on all sales in California and Pennsylvania). With respect to the state of California, SVIA will additionally collect District Taxes for the County of Orange. In all other cases, the customer is responsible for remitting to their respective state, the appropriate and applicable district tax, as well as any other applicable taxes, if not charged by SVIA.
